The Astro-Naut is the namesake of the city of Astro City itself.
Origin[]
After eccentric visionary Roy Virgil stood up to crime by besting a mob enforcer in combat, he was encouraged to use his skills and inventions to fight crime, which he did as the Astro-Naut.
